Mrs. Forrest earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Governor State University and is currently enrolled in the Alternative Teaching Program at St. Xavier University. She looks forward to graduating with her master’s degree this upcoming summer.

Before coming to St. John De La Salle, Mrs. Forrest worked at St. Leonard School as a fourth grade teacher, where she developed a strong passion for supporting students both academically and personally. She is happily married to a pastor, and her strong belief in God continues to guide her life, values, and approach to teaching.

Teaching has always been her passion, and she feels incredibly grateful to work with students each day. Mrs. Forrest strives to create a classroom where every child feels safe, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. She believes that every student deserves the chance to learn, grow, and be heard.

She finds great joy in being part of her students’ learning journeys and enjoys building meaningful connections while helping them succeed both academically and personally.
