Founded with a mission to provide quality Catholic education to families on Chicago’s South Side, St. John de la Salle Catholic Academy has a long-standing tradition of faith, academic excellence, and community engagement.
Inspired by the teachings of Saint John Baptist de La Salle, the patron saint of teachers, the school is dedicated to educating the whole child — academically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially.
For generations, the academy has empowered students to become compassionate leaders, lifelong learners, and active members of their communities.

Our primary purpose is to prepare our children to meet the challenges of an ever-changing society. We strive to create an environment that respects the dignity of all members of our school community. We are dedicated to providing an educational experience that focuses on the whole child, and we believe that parents are the primary educators.
